Our involvement in downtown Los Angeles began with our subsidiary company Historic Consultants, Inc. in 2000. At that time the area was under developed and investment was only beginning to come into the market.  We began by providing financing and consulting services to property owners of vacant historic buildings in the historic core area. Many of the buildings our firm worked on were turned into live/work loft housing units following Tom Gilmore's success in the Old Bank District.

Through our efforts we have become extremely active business and property owners in the historic core area of downtown Los Angeles, however our real expertise spans outside of the area as well. The owners of City Center and Historic Consultants is Tara Jones Hamacher and Guido Hamacher who are actively involved in all areas of the revitalization process. Throughout the last eight years they have worked hand in hand with local property owners, business improvement districts, businesses, and pioneering residential urbanites to create a new downtown.    

We have become experts in the many projects that are transforming this area into a series of revitalized mixed-use urban neighborhoods. The center of the City is known simply as the Historic Downtown District. An unassuming name for what holds one of the greatest concentrations of intact historic buildings on the West coast, with a center concentration on Broadway in what is known as the Broadway Theatre and Entertainment National Register Historic District. The street holds some of the greatest Beaux Art architecture on the West coast and has the largest concentration of historic theatres in nation, twelve theatres in a six block area.

Today our City Center Real Estate Office is located just one block off Broadway and 8th street at 812 S. Spring Street and/or 815 S. Main Street . With the central location we can serve the community even better by providing the one-stop shop to investing in real estate in downtown Los Angeles.
