Located near the Heart of Skid Row the Toy District is a series of warehouses and converted storage buildings that have colorful storefronts. During the day the district has several retail stores that specialize in inexpensive novelties and electronics. At night the homeless population populate the area.

The Toy District occupies a twelve block area between Third (on the north) and Fifth (on the south) Streets, Los Angeles (on the west) and San Pedro (on the east) Streets. Most stores are open 9 to 5 Monday through Saturday.
