Understand the 5 simple steps to an Energy Efficient Mortgage.

Applying for an efficiency home mortgage takes just five steps:

1.    Get Pre-approved
Before shopping for a new home, it's important to get pre-approved, so you can understand how much you can borrow and not waste your time looking at homes you cannot afford. Once your loan application has been completed, a City Center mortgage loan representative will get your loan approved immediately.

2.    Shop for a home
Once pre-approved, you can start you search for the perfect home.

3.    Get an energy audit
Let an independent home energy rater survey your home and prepare your home energy report. Select the most cost-effective energy-efficient improvements you'd like to make, including the installation of a solar electric system and turn your home into an Energy Saver.

4.    Close
We will add the required funds to the mortgage amount and complete the loan process. As soon as loan documents are signed, the loan can be funded, and escrow can close. Funds for the nergy improvements will be set aside in an escrow account.

5.    Install Upgrades
After your escrow closes, the energy improvements are installed at your convenience, and escrow pays the contractors.
